Office stewards or interested members should personalize the attached sample letter to send with AFGE 3599 rep's to the upcoming Legislative Conference.

All you need to do is fill in the name of your US Rep and two US Senators. You can find these by going to www.congress.org and filling in your zip code.

Then there is space to add one paragraph to the letter with concerns specific to your office. Examples are provided in the sample letter.

Please have as many members in your office sign the letter as possible so that we can hand deliver it to your members of Congress. Please fax the signed letters to Sharon Baker at (502) 582-5435 by no later than close of business Wed February 3, 2009. You can also scan the letter and email it to rachel.shonfield@council216.org.
